Hey people, for today's post I'd like to talk about why I created Narratives in Motions and how I came to make my workshops for others to learn from!!
When I was in elementary school, I didn’t have many friends my age, so I found myself hanging out with 3rd and 4th graders. We’d play games together, and I naturally became the leader of our little activities. Those moments were so much fun and taught me the joy of teamwork and guiding others, which I carry myself to do more often today.
For fun, I also started making weekly newspapers to share during show-and-tell. It became my way of expressing creativity, and I loved the process of putting it all together. I’ll never forget my 3rd-grade teacher, Mrs. Bogress, who was so impressed with my work that she called me the “Next Geronimo Stilton,” referencing one of my favorite book series at the time! That series had such a big impact on me, and I still turn to it for inspiration even now.
Looking back, those small projects and moments of encouragement shaped who I am today. It’s proof that creativity has no limits and that inspiration can come from the simplest of activities.
What about you? Did you have any creative outlets growing up that stuck with you? Let me know in the comments! :D
